Dynamic Forms on Standard Objects

With Dynamic Forms, admins have the power to create multi-use dynamic pages and customize the user experience.

Admins can bring in fields and field sections from the palette on the left-hand side.

Record details can be broken up into multiple sections, rather than being limited to a single block of fields.

Admins can set conditional visibility on fields and field sections, so that different fields are displayed depending on record detail.

Fields can be marked as required or read-only. With Dynamic Forms, page performance improves due to progressive page rendering.

Add multiple filter values for picklist fields in dynamic related lists

You can now filter your dynamic related lists further and select multiple filter values for picklist fields.

Now when you filter dynamic related lists in the Lightning App Builder, you can select multiple filter values for picklist fields.

For example, on the Account record page, filter a dynamic related list to show all cases with a priority of Medium or High. Previously, you could filter by only one picklist value.

You can also configure what fields are displayed, in what order, and customize what actions are available.

How to get hands-on

In Lightning App Builder, open an account (including person account), contact, or opportunity record page.

Select the Record Detail component, and click Upgrade Now from the property panel on the right-hand side to upgrade the component to Dynamic Forms.

To add additional fields and field sections, click the Fields tab from the panel on the left-hand side, and drag fields and field sections onto the page.
